Chris’ death was a shock to the nation no one could believe the brave hero is no more. The man who was recognized as ‘Devil of Ramadi’ and fought many battles at Iraq was murdered by Eddie Ray Routh at the Rough Creek Lodge shooting range near Chalk Mountain, Texas.
Life and Education of Chris
Christopher Scott Kyle was also known as Chris he was born on April 8, 1974in Odessa, Texas, U.S. Chris grew up with his brother raising 150 cattle’s heads at a time after completing his high school at Midlothian he pursued graduation and became professional Bronco Rodeo Rider but he could not survive as he injured his arm badly.
Kyle decidedto Join Military services and went to recruiting offices for joining in U.S. Marine Corps. Special Operationsbuthe was convinced to join SEAL. He was rejected but wasinvited tothe 24 week SEAL training and hegraduated with class in 233 in March 2001.
How Did Chris Kyle Die though he was the best sniper of the American military history. Chris Kyle honorably discharged from the U.S Navy in 2009 and in 2012 published his bestselling Autobiography: American Sniper.
Chris was akind hearted man he was serving many social causes among them one was to help the people suffering from PTSD i.e. Post-Traumatic stress Disorder. Eddie Ray Routh’s mother approached Chris for help to cure his son from PTSD. He agreed upon it and this social cause brought him on the platter of death. On 2nd February 2013 Chris Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield agreed to take Eddie Ray Routh at the rough Creek Ranch, Lodge Resort- Shooting Range in the Erath Country, Texas, they were lodged with their guns but no fire was made from those and their safety catches were on and something unexpected happened that day, Eddie killed Chris with .45 caliber pistol while Littlefield was shot dead with a 9mm SIG Sauer P226 Mk.25 n Mod 0 pistol and unfortunately both the gun belonged to Chris. The brave hero was found motionless on the ground with blood all around him.
Edie Ray Routh was charged for the murder of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield on February 24, 2015. Routh was guilty of murdering, Jury returned the verdict after less than three hours of deliberations the trial Judge Jason Cashion immediately sentenced Routh to life in prison with no possibility of Parole. At present Routh is imprisoned at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Powledge unit near Palestine, Texas.
A memorial service was held for Kyle at Cowboys Stadium, he was buried at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin. Hundreds of people bid adieu, waved American flags and lined at Interstate 35 to view the procession and pay their final respects to the legendary Hero.
People who leave us and go never comes back but what remains is the pleasant memories their love, good deeds and their kind acts in hearts forever.
